Slavery in SecondLife " An Abomination to Human Rights"

By Avatar Jay Cela

Some of the people reading this, may not want to hear what I intend to say here soon. But Slavery trade in RL is Alive and Well, and a real money maker in the Real World. The fact that various Virtual Worlds allow this sort of fantasy realm to exist, is an abomination to all of Mankind.

And yes I am about to target Restrained Love TPV Viewers, BDSM Sim's and Groups soon. I realize this tends to be rather controversial, within a Virtual World ~ or ~ Society. But never the less. I intend to present you with fact's. Facts that you may or may not wish to accept or  ignore, or even come to grips with.

How Does Your Virtual World Role Pay affect you, your loved ones,  and The Real Life World Around You !

How about targeting all those sims or the even greater number of MMORPGs that think that shooting people and killing them is 'cool'?

You really have no clue what BDSM and roleplay is about, have you? >.< Comparing BDSM to real life slavery is like comparing Chess to real life war.

Khan / I rarely have negative comments to say about individual Avatars (people) unless they really rile me up. You have managed to do just that! :(

I am not about to be lowered to your level of thinking, by telling you what I actually think of your opinion here in a public blog.

If you care to meet with me in-world for a chat / please free to do so

Hi there Hitomi / thanks for that comment, I agree with you 100% sis. I deplore violence of any sort. Real or Virtual. To much of our society is infested with evil, debauchery, and mindless destruction. Heavily promoted as a form of entertainment, it makes me very sad and ill at times.

*bigg huggs* Sis

I don't quite understand how role playing in the Virtual reality can be harmful to "Mankind" as you put it. Any more than Virtual sex will breed infidelity in the RL.
Isn't it much better to act out the fantasies in a virtual environment than to test the waters in RL?
Give it a break, people are exploring the darker sides for fun and enjoyment. Let it be ;-)

That Gor has found a home in Second Life continues to be a sore point with me--not merely for its view of chattel slavery as something natural and desirable, but for the misogyny inherent required of the role players. How Linden Lab sees this situation any differently is beyond me, but I hope that one day this will go the way of age play in world.
