Is SecondLife Worth It ?

    This is difficult for me to say, but I am going to do it anyway. In the 6 + years I have been here in SL, I have managed to make a number of very nice friends. It does not matter to them that in RL I am 54 years old and male, my SL Avatar is a 30 something female and married in this crazy world to the same virtual woman since 2005.

    For that matter I am female in numerous virtual worlds, and I have always been up front about this. People just seem to get along with me because I am myself. But as I look at a number of recent turns of events in the SL Virtual World Landscape. I find myself saddened by the fact that large portions of these people no longer bother to venture here.

    As far as romantic relationships in a Virtual World environment are concerned, ya cant play with someone's heart and emotional state of mind, without some sort of unintended  fallout.  So many of my girl friends here in SL have had their hearts broken within the past year.

     It makes me start to wonder ?

     Is Second Life Really Worth It ?
