SecondLife : Time For Linden Realms To Expand : Third Party Game Developer Tools Need To Be Released Now !

By Avatar JayR Cela

It is no secret that I am devoted to the Linden Realms concept for in-world game creation. I have been occasionally dropping into the LR environment, on a day to day basis just in order to pass some home bound time, and prevent boredom from sinking into a deep depression.

Linden Realms has been a great break from the boring trips to the local blues clubs, the egotistical DJ's spinning tunes, the live musician shows that are not live, just prerecorded tracks piped through a ShoutCast Server with interjected comments from the streamer piped in at the correct cue.

Let's face it SecondLife is getting old, long in the tooth, primed and ready to croak. Without some new and fresh content breathed into it. It's going nowhere fast !

My hope is that Rodvick and his former EA co-worker Will Wright will put some zoom back into my favorite Virtual World platform. I have been to the LR worlds about a half of a dozen times or so, it was a lot of fun at first, but got old really fast.

It is time for the promised Third Party Game Developer ( TPGD ) tools to be released !
