Ok, I guess I will manage to piss off a few more people, but I'm used to it and really don't care.
If you are interested in hopping around to various Open Sim based Grids, there is only really one viewer to choose, and that is Henri Beauchamps, Cool ViewerVL
This guy basically wrote almost all of the code for every Virtual World viewer available, yes it was all based on LL code, but those turkey's do not seem to be able to program their way out of a wet paper bag.
And now the lab seems to be running scared with Grid Manager Paranoia, this has got to be the most Stab Your Self In The Foot Response to an obvious problem that has a very simple solution.
IT"S OPEN SOURCE !!!
Look if you want to explore various OS based grids, just do yourself a favor, and check out Henri's web page, http://sldev.free.fr/ down load the current version, and go from there. And while I'm at it, screw LL and their idiotic politics with No Grid Managers Allowed, if that piece of Crap official LL Viewer becomes the only way I will be allowed into SL, SCREW EM !!! / I'm outta there !!
