SecondLife : As An Indie Game Platform : Is it Possible ?

By Avatar JayR Cela

Yeah I think so, and so does Rod Humble, LL has been on a well directed buying spree lately.

Taking a look at recent acquisitions, by the Lab, and I'm not about to name them all, lot's of other Blog's have covered that.

Over all if you look at the Big Picture, Linden Lab is not going away !

I have said this before, and I'm saying it again, considering all of the complexities involved with designing a playable and fun game is not a trivial task, SecondLife as a game design platform makes perfect sense to me.

There are a lot of really fantastic Mini-Games in SL

I saw a fantastic trailer of a game that Mad Pea plan on developing for Second Life, and Attack on Titan has spawned a game in SL that is getting rave reviews from the gaming press such as this one in Kotaku - http://kotaku.com/now-theres-an-attack-on-titan-3d-action-game-in-second-513944594
