Lol, after all of the clowning around I did trying to get FireStorm to run on my fresh Win XP machine. The fix was so simple, and not under my nose.
M y friend Mister Acacia ( fellow contributor on this Blog ) sent me this Link, that installs some C++ run-time library's that FireStorm requires.

Yayyyyy!!!! I'm back with my most favorite SL viewer / FireStorm !!!
