Ok look, another idiotic holiday in America, the problem is some people actually think that they can consume massive amounts of alcohol and get behind the wheel of a several thousand pound vehicle.
It's not a good idea, If you want to party, please stay at home.

OpenSim Worlds : Predicting What Is Going To Happen : A Crap Shoot At Best
Hi there Again
I don't spend much time in Virtual Reality any longer, most of what I have been able to do has been devoted to Grid Hopping from one OpenSim world to another, the main reason I don't bother to comment much, is the amount of gossip I wish to avoid.
There seems to be a lot of in-fighting starting to take place amongst various people, and quite frankly I just don't have time for the nonsense, look if you're going to offer positive contributions to the OS platform, by all means please do so, but how about leaving the petty differences behind.
Most everyone I have met so far has been gradually migrating from the LL Second Life platform, so we all have that much in common. But this entire Open Sim thing is a big Crap Shot, it is totally unpredictable, and the last thing we need is mindless gossip.
I do my best to just avoid anyone and everyone that is ( what I refer to as ) a Gossip Queen, their only purpose seems to be finding joy in other's sorrow. Just blow them off, they ain't worth wasting your time even bothering associating with.
Open Sim and Hyper Grid Will Crush All The Closed Garden Virtual Reality Worlds, and put them in the dust bin where they belong eventually. If you want proof, just take a look at AOL or CompuServe.

Developing an Open Sim - Hyper Grid - Specific Viewer Should Be Top Priority : But Who's Gonna Do It ?
By Avatar JayR Cela
I don't know about you, but I am getting tired of SecondLife specific crap mucking up my Open Sim and Hyper Grid experience.
Is high time to cut the umbilical cord.
It's just a question of who or whom, is willing to take on the task. It is something we as HyperGrid people need to insist upon.
Nuff Said.

Open Sim and HyperGrid : What Are The Right Ingredients for a Profitable Endeavor ?
By Avatar JayR Cela
Look, I ain't pulling no punches here, I speak my mind. I been bopping around the Hyper Grid checking things out, and pretty much keeping silent, as I observe what exactly is happening.
Right now is KAOS, some standards have not yet been put in place, and thats OK by me. I enjoy the massive confusion, it makes people think ! How Can We Make This Better ?
You can obviously take everything I say here with a grain of salt, first thing to remember Open Sim and Hyper Grid are not Walled Garden Virtual World Environments. It's wide open for improvements, and the best thing about this is that what you do, or contribute actually makes a difference. Even if it's just a small one, who cares.
The Right Ingredients are a very simple mix of Creative Minds, people willing to try things that may or may not have been done before. Builders, Scripters, Artist's. These are the people who will bring about this Non Closed Walled Garden Revolution.
As in most RL recipes for success, those who push the boundaries beyond the norm usually succeed or fail, it's just life in general. If ya keep making the same mistake over and over again, perhaps it's time to try a different approach.
Right now I have been observing an influx of Carpetbagger's in Open Sim. People that bop into an OS Grid, claim a free parcel of land just for the sake of having it, then split never to return.
Screw Them, throw em out!
If they do not want to participate in the profilition of your platform, then it should be obvious they are nothing more than a blood sucking leech. Plain and simple as the nose on your face.
Next up on the list, Drama Queens, toss them out too ! No use for gossipy nut bags spreading all sorts of wild rumors and hearsay. Get rid of them.
For new people that are inexperienced with Virtual Worlds, you need a competent greeting staff to massage the rough spots for a newbie.
Offer some free land to new comers, with restriction's.
#1 They Gotta Use It And Make It Look Nice. No Trailor Trash Homes, Out Houses, Shack's or simple prims laying around crapping up the place.
#2 Keep your Cool and Go With The Flow, constantly adjusting and fine tuning.
Patience is the KEY.
