This question seem's to pop up from time to time, will the SL experience eventually move from a stand-alone user interface to a browser based one ? Personally I don't think so.
SL is way to complicated to stuff into a Browser plug in, and all of the TPV's that just so happen to be keeping SL alive with new and innovative design idea's, would simply vanish.
So it's not going to happen
