OMG ! This has got to be one of the biggest joke's ( ill conceived ) and or rumor's I have heard yet !
Oz Linden, has a brilliant mind, and firm grip on where he want's SL to go. The Pho-Bhaa's in the corporate seat's, want to see result's, and they want to see them now !
It's not going to happen !!!!!!
SecondLife is a unique platform !!!
There is nothing like it, OK there a similar platforms out there, but most of them are cookie cutter Shoot & Kill, then Die type of crappy ass garbage.
So this bring's up the question, will LL make a decision to move to a closed viewer?
I seriously doubt it !
The beauty of having an Open Source Environment in which a Developer can be free to create to his or her's ultimate desire's are eventually reached, is like striking a small Gold Mine for LL
I would like to see more In-World Games, I honestly think that this will keep the SL platform alive for many years to come.
