P.S. If your a real tin foil hat sort of person try Sabayon, :_)

I just had to say that that, maintaining a Sabayon system is something else, it's a pain in the ass, but somehow worth it. / Haa-ha - I guess it just depends on the persons involved.
If you prefer stability and still cutting edge with tested reliability then Debian is a good way to go

And I can not forget MINT Linux, I got mixed feelings about this Distro, however I am looking forward to the next Ubuntu 14.04 based LTS Release, and that's only 4 months or so away.

I am considering that distro for 1 reason / it has Mate and Cinnamon in the repositories. Plain and simple choice for me. But I do like Sabayon and Debian, and I learned Linux on Ubuntu, it would be really kool to have a CMS Distro available for all of the available Linux Desktop Platforms, so for now I'm just planning on running a bunch of how to stuff and video's.
If ya can bear with me, that would be really great, I finally got my health in RL back on track and I got a lot of free time on my hands to work this project through to completion.
