Well I had really wanted to document the proper procedure of adding the Ubuntu Studio repositories to ChaletOS, I have since determined that unless the reader is familiar with using the command line and tracking down bug's, it's not be worth the effort.
The reason being that ChaletOS, even though it uses Ubuntu Xeniel repositories, under the hood it is actually Debian 8. This is a big disappointment for me, because once it is done correctly, the system really rocks.
Perhaps one day I will, document the entire procedure, but a lot of it really seems to have something to do with your particular hardware, the version of Ubuntu or one of its fork's, and the fact that Debian is not Ubuntu, Ubuntu is an enhanced Debian, as in Mint is an enhanced Ubuntu, and things can get rather messy if you don't have a firm understanding of what the hell is going on, especially when you start adding PPA's to the mix.
So a generic breakdown of adding Ubuntu Studio to a base Ubuntu based Linux distro ( It should work with Mint Linux just fine ) First things first, Do Not Back Up Your Computer ! Image it !
If you don't understand the difference, then stop right here, or backup all your important stuff first and just go on ahead, download and install Ubuntu Studio.
I'll be back in the next day or so, with either a proper procedure, or some other silly stuff, perhaps a rant. / LOL :_)
See ya soon, and thanks for reading my blog.
