SecondLife : Kirsten's Viewer Resurrection ?

By Avatar JayR Cela

Well earlier last week I caught wind of a project that I thought is worthy of passing the word along on. Many Ultra High End SL User's ( Machinima and Photography Buff's ) recently had to endure great lament last month with the abrupt and unexpected cancellation of the Kirsten Viewer. I do not know the details as to why development on this viewer was halted. But apparently some die hard users are determined to resurrect it.

That's right, if you happen to fall within the elite crowd that has the computing and graphic's horsepower capable of actually running this software, this may be your last chance to put you two cent's in ( literally ) to help further development beyond the so called software grave. This is being sponsored through a group called CrowdFunder  http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/investment/the-kirsten-s-viewer-project-480

The goal may be unprecedented, as far as SL Viewer development is concerned, but not un-achievable. $40.000 U.S. to fund development for a period of 1 year, currently $5.000 has already been raised.
