Well I'm very unhappy to report here that this coming Friday will be the last day for one the the LL Project SnowStorm Team leaders. The very much respected and well liked Q Linden is apparently moving on to other tech related pasture's. Apparently a start-up. No detail's were given. His advice as far as the project's future is concerned..... # 1 Near term -- proceed as usual. # 2 Longer term is waiting on reorganzational decisions for LL engineering in general.
For those of you who are unaware of Q's involvement, he was the head of the newly formed Viewer 2 Evolution Group His weekly Wednesday morning meetings were geared towards. Review of proposals for new features and changes in Viewer 2; for Second Life Viewer developers and users.
This mark's the second time in as many moth's that Project SnowStorm has had one of it's key developers abruptly leave the team. Esbee Linden the Project Manager as you may recall left last year. This does not include several other independent Dev's as well.
