Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I jumped on the Open Sim bandwagon. But to be honest with ya, until someone takes control and offer's a one stop solution to setting up your own grid, the project is pretty much dead in it's tracks.
My ISP ( Comcast ) makes it virtually impossible to set up a personal server, and the recent cap's limitation's on how much bandwidth I can use, or gig's of usage I am able to access before being hit with a monstrous bill is ridiculous.
And now the Wireless carriers want more of our UHF airwaves, I guess you can soon kiss free television viewing goodbye soon. Take a look at this web site.

Let's face it Corporation's and Oligarchs are running the show.
So what doe's all this have to do with Open Sim ? Well it is a free form method of self expression, and hopefully.................................................................... ??
