Sometimes it is easy to overlook the contribution's of Henri, most every Third Party Viewer ( TPV ) out there is riding on his work. This guy is a genius, and his tireless effort's have gone a long way to help continue the V1.x series of viewer's.
Earlier today I decided to take his version of the SL viewer for a spin again. It's not the fastest as far a FPS goes. But it has got to be the smoothest running viewer out there. I have been running the Singularity viewer for the past week, and it is basically Henri's Cool Viewer with a few added tweaks, I really like it.
But if you want to see where all this stuff actually got started from, the the Cool Viewer VL is worth a try, it is extremely fast, and bullet proof. The installation is a bit tricky, in that you need to install the SnowGlobe viewer first and then the Cool overlay files on top. Some sort of legal reasons for that.
Henri brought Mesh capabilities to the V1.x series, something LL said was impossible. So let's all tip our hat's and raise a drink to the Gran Daddy of all TPV 1.x series viewer Developer's.
