I recently read Thinker Selby Evans post dealing with last years changes to the TOS, ( it is defiantly worth reading ) if you are at all concerned about this issue, I believe the major thing to consider is that in it's current state, ( the document you digitally signed by agreeing to the TOS ) you have no recourse to recoup your loss's in a legal battle. Nadda-Zip-Zilch !!
I left a rather terse comment after reading on his blog, simply stating if you don't like it, go somewhere else, and I intend to to stand behind that comment. SL is a great place, recent changes to the server side and client side have made LL's platform a wonderful choice for all sort's of intriguing Virtual Reality research and entertainment opportunities.
But let's face it, it is their platform.
You can read Selby's post here : http://virtualoutworlding.blogspot.com/2014/06/2014-iprights-tos-nine-months-where-do.html
