Yesterday the Lab announced that very soon SL will be an available download on the very popular gaming network Steam.

Is this a good idea ?
I do not see how it can possibly hurt, the potential for new customer's, and future budding in-world game developers is pretty massive. That coupled with some new improvement's planned for the graphic's rendering engine should start to make SL an interesting social network again.
